The Wandering Bag is one of Chanel’s six diamonds. It was designed by former design director Karl Lagerfeld, and his design manuscripts are still circulating on the Internet; the bag is named after Ms. Chanel’s real name, Gabrielle.
The overall bag is in the shape of an inverted trapezoid. The bottom design is inspired by the structure of horse racing goggles, mirror boxes and VR glasses. The rounded rectangular chassis is wide on both sides and slightly narrower in the middle. It is very versatile; the unique design makes the entire bag look retro and elegant. forward
The bag surface is made of fetal cowhide and has been distressed to give the bag a natural wrinkled feel. The bottom is also made of cowhide and uses a hot-pressing molding process to make the bag stiffer and three-dimensional.
